Our goal at Hawkinson Wooden Boats is for you to have the best possible restoration experience, with whatever amount of owner involvement you desire, at the best possible value.

To do this, we will discuss and agree upon with you the work that is necessary on your wooden boat and your level of personal involvement, and will provide an estimate of the cost and timing to complete that work. You will receive monthly billings of HWB's actual restoration costs (time and materials) that reflect our, and your, work on your boat. Photos will be included with these billings when possible, especially if you are not able to be personally working on your boat. We will not perform any work on your boat that is not agreed upon in advance. Communication is key, so we will communicate regularly how things are going and any surprises we are encountering along the way, and ask for you to make decisions that are necessary for completion of your boat.

Again, your involvement helps you stay involved, reduces your cost and gives you a greater restoration experience.
